A complete lead and copper alloy pin of medieval to post-medieval date. The head of the pin is constructed of lead and is bi-conical with raised pellet decoration evident on the upper hemisphere. A circular sectioned copper alloy stem projects from the base of the head, bending at approximately 90 degrees and tapering to a worn point.
The pin is 30.6mm long, 11.1mm in diameter at the head, 1.1mm in diameter at the shaft and weighs 3.9g.
