A late Iron Age to Roman miniature terret ring. The undecorated ring is not circular and has an outer diameter of 16.58 mm and an internal diameter of 8.33 mm. It shows some slight signs of wear around the inside edge. Terret rings such as this are possibly associated with horse harness, sword belts, belts or they may have some other utilitarian use.
