Fragment of post medieval stoneware vessel with part of a decorative medallion on it, AD.1600-1800. This is a small fragment of a stoneware vessel that retains part of decoration, there is a circular design with a face in relief within it. This is a small medallion that would have been at the apex of the larger oval decoration. There is a fragment of the foliate border remaining too. The outer surface is a pale brown colour with very little mottling effect, the interior is a glossy cream-grey with a light grey fabric in section.
