A copper alloy Medieval Harness pendant of unusually small size, probably dating from AD 1150 - 1300. The pendant is circular and very thin. It has traces of a design on the front, perhaps within a beaded border, though it is no longer clear enough to interpret. A circular suspension loop projects, and is at right angles to the plane of the pendant. The thin metal and the small size both suggest the fairly early date (see Ashley, 2002, Medieval Armorial Horse Furniture in Norfolk, pages 7-9). The pendant is 17.2mm long, 10.3mm wide and 4.2mm thick. 0.62g.
