A flint-knapped thumbnail scraper probably dating from the late Neolithic to early Bronze Age. A small platform of percussion and bulb of percussion are visible at the proximal end and ventral face (for bulb) as is a central ridge running down the centre of the dorsal face. From the ventral face, the right mesial edge seems to have been finely retouched but the distal end of the tool has been broken where more retouch may have been located. The left mesial edge (from ventral face) has retained a large degree of cortex, perhaps to facilitate a grip on the object. The flint is of even medium grey colour and the cortex is a bright chalky white. The scraper measures 28.06 mm long, 24.04 mm maximum width, 7.2 mm maximum thickness and weighs 4.48 grams.
