Medieval gilt copper alloy composite harness pendant comprising an elaborate sexfoil frame within which a separate sexfoil is suspended. The divisions between the petals of the latter are emphasised by radial engraved lines. A common type but a small example, cf. two normal, larger pieces excavated in Norwich (Emery 2007, fig. 5.93 and pl. 5.12, SF 81 and SF 609). Height 29.5mm. Width 14.8mm (height and width of inner element 16.5 and 10.5mm). 13th - 14th century.
