An incomplete Medieval copper alloy lamp hanger, dating AD1350-1400. The object is formed of four arms, three radiating from the base of a single vertical arm. Each have loops at the end though the loop of the vertical arm is slightly larger and more circular in shape, whereas the others have been formed from perforating square projections at the ends of the arms. There is a further loop located beneath the vertical arm, formed from a perforation in a semi-circular tab that projects below the object. The loop from one of the radial arms has broken away. The object has a mi-light green patina.
Similar examples can be seen published in Egan (1998, nos. 356-7) and date to the late 14th century. This object is likely to be of a similar date.
