A silver Medieval coin; a round half penny of Edward III (AD 1327 - 1377), Third, florin coinage (AD 1344 - 1351), Withers' Type 7, mint of London. See number 1131 on page 48 of North, Volume 2 (1991) and page 26 of Halfpennies and farthings; Edward III and Richard II by P and B Withers (2005). The coin is 14.2mm diameter, 0.7mm thick and 0.6g.
