A group of 3 worked waste flakes of Mesolithic date (9000-3450 BC). The lithics are sub-rectangular in plan and plano-convex in section. Lithic no. 2 had a notched aspect on the distal edge and the ventral surface contains some shallow ripples of percussion emanating from the right edge. The ventral surface of lithic no 3. contains a single negative scar which also shows shallow ripples of percussion. Lithic no. 1 retains some cortex on the dorsal surfaces and is therefore a secondary flake. The others retain no cortex and are therefore tertiary flakes.
The flakes are a grey brown in colour. The cortex is a light grey/cream.
