A group of 3 flint waste flakes of Mesolithic date (9000-3450 BC). The lithics are sub-ovate in plan and plano-convex in section. Lithics 2 and 3 show some ripples of percussion on the ventral surface, emanating from the proximal end. All three flakes retain some cortex on the dorsal surface and are therefore secondary flakes.
The flakes are a grey brown in colour. The cortex is a light grey/cream.
