A group of 5 flint waste flakes of Mesolithic date (9000-3450 BC). The lithics are sub-ovate in plan, plano-convex in section and all taper to a slight point at the distal end. The flakes retain no cortex and are therefore tertiary flakes
The flakes range from a dark grey to light brown in colour.
