A group of 6 flint waste flakes of Mesolithic date (9000-3450 BC). The lithics are sub-rectangular in plan and plano-convex in section. Lithics no. 2 and 6 retain some cortex (on the proximal end and left hand edge respectively) and are therefore secondary flakes. The others retain no cortex and are therefore tertiary flakes

The flakes are dark grey in colour. The cortex on no 2 and 6 is grey in colour.
