A large crudely worked flint pick. The pick is roughly rectangular in shape, tapering slightly at one end. There are several longitudinal flake removals, struck from opposing ends (this has resulted in a thickened area around the middle of the pick). At the narrow end a small amount of striking platform remains and the opposing, wider end has been removed by transverse flaking. The flint has a heavy white patina. This was found on a beach and shows some signs of abrasion.
