Shield shaped copper alloy strap mount, Pointed shield with cast heraldic decoration and traces of blue enamel. Triple stranded diagonal band running left to right. Above the band in the top right are three possible flowers or sunbursts. Below the band the decoration is unclear. The back is flat and undecorated with a large integral central attachment spike. The spike is rectangular sectioned and tapering
