Incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester Derivative Harlow brooch with almost all of the spring, the pin, most of one wing, the lower part of the bow and all of the catchplate missing. Mackreth 2011, CD Ha 1.a. The iron of the axis bar blocks the lower hole through the double-pierced lug. A median rib on the flat-backed bow runs between concavities. Estimated wingspan 25mm. Extant length 31.5mm. c.43 - c.75.
