Medieval copper alloy bell. Separate inserted sheet loop, upper and lower half soldered together at well-defined median rib, round-ended slot in base, containing corroded remains of iron pea. Now squashed almost flat. Original height circa 30mm. See Egan and Pritchard (2002, 339, fig.221, no.1645 and 1666). 13th - 15th century.
