A fragment,probably Roamn, from a large vessel with hard, rough surface on the obverse which is dark pink-grey/mottled grey. The reverse surface is hard and almost smooth, with an orange/pink slip and mica and quartzite inclusions, with some grey patches. Both surfaces have fine voids. The fabric is reduced, predominantly grey with some dark pink and with one mica inclusion. Fractures are worn, irregular and laminated. It is dated to between 43 and 410 AD and is moderately abraded.
The length is 29mm, width 20mm, thickness 5mm and the weight, 4.06g.
