A Post Medieval copper alloy tombac button. The button is octagonal in plan; the front face is decorated with a rose motif. The back face is slightly raised at the centre where there are the remains of an attachment loop. A similar button can be seen in Bailey (2004), p 53, figure 9.106, which is dated to the 18th century.
