A fragment, probably Roman, from a large-sized vessel, probably hand thrown (from the irregular, horizontal, shallow grooves on both surfaces) and with pink surfaces which are hard and rough on the obverse, hard and hackly on the reverse. The fabric is partly reduced, grey and rough. Fractures are worn, irregular and with some lamination. It is dated to between 43 and 410 AD and is moderately abraded.
The length is 54mm, width 40mm, thickness 9mm and the weight, 15.96g.
