A fragment, probably Roman, from a large-sized vessel. The exterior has pinkish-brown surfaces which are hard and hackly on the obverse, hard and smooth, with light horizontal turning marks on the reverse. Despite the clear, vertical concavity on the latter, its horizontal plane appears to be quite flat. The fabric is partly reduced, pinkish-brown and rough, with one rounded quartzite (2mm dia) and very rare mica inclusions. Fractures are irregular. It is dated to between 43 and 410 AD and is lightly abraded.

The length is 30mm, width 35mm, thickness 6mm and the weight, 4.7g.
