Middle Saxon copper alloy pin of Rogers Type 331 (Rogers, 2009, 44 and 57, fig.1.25, no.407 and 409). Bi-conical with a median band, collared, circular-sectioned shank with a faintly engraved spiral starting just before the ancient break. Diameter of head 8mm. Height of head including collar 10.5mm. Total surviving length 50mm.
