Roman copper alloy brooch, Mackreth 2011 Knee Br 2.b2. D-shaped head with two pierced lugs on the reverse holding the spring and remains of pin, flattened D-sectioned bow tapering before a slightly expanded foot. Small catchplate broken at the fold. Completely plain. Length 29mm. Width 10.5. Mid 2nd - mid 3rd century.
