Incomplete copper alloy Roman brooch, Mackreth (2011) Type CD RH (Colchester Derivative Rear Hook). C-sectioned wings with rib at both outer ends, rear-hook, solder with impression of for missing spring on reverse. D-sectioned bow with median groove. Triangular catchplate on reverse of the tapering foot. Length 40mm. Wingspan 25mm. c.43 - c.65 AD.
