A Roman republican coin, a copper As of L. Titurius Sabinus, dating to 89 BC (Reece Period 1). Obverse: Laureate head of Janus. Reverse: Prow right, Victory with wreath before, L TITVRI L F above, SABINVS below. Mint of Rome. RRC 344/4. The coin is 28.1mm diameter, 3.5mm thick and 9.16g. The reverse is slightly dished and the edge is chipped.
