Medieval copper alloy clasp: a frame with ornate outside and a small part of the sheet plate folded around the bar. The edge with two holes and engraved decoration depicts a stylised zoomorphic or possibly human face, cf. a fragment from Meols (Egan, G. in Griffiths et al. 2007, no. 901). Length and width 26 and 14.8mm. Second half 14th century.
