Post Medieval silver bodkin, 78mm long, and weighing 3.3 grams.
The object is intact but bent with some damage at one end. For just over half its length it has a circular sectioned body which terminates in a point. For the remainder, the object has a rectangular cross section and is decorated with two? panels separated by an incised transverse line containing dotted/incised lines. Above this is a small plate separated by a transverse collar which contains a circular hole. The object terminates in a rounded and dished projecting terminal, which is probably an ear scoop.
