Incomplete Roman copper alloy bird shaped mount. The object is in the shape of a board, though which species is difficult to determine. It is likely to be a duck or some other waterfowl, as these were common in the Iron Age and Roman period. There are two projections at the base of the object which appear to have once formed a ring. This suggests it may have been a finger ring or ring fitting.
