An incomplete copper-alloy Hod Hill bow brooch. It is missing the head, foot and pin due to old breaks. Extending from each edge of the bow are integrally cast knops that has rectangular arms with single vertical triangular projections, and globular terminals with central vertical grooves. On the bacxk face of the foot is an integrally cast catchplate that is triangular in form and missing its outer edge due to old breaks. The entire object measures 58.53mm in length, 32.99mm in width (at bow, partially bent), 3.33mm in thickness at bow (14.43mm including catchplate), and 13.49g in weight.
