Roman copper alloy headstud brooch. It is abraded and incomplete. The suspension loop, the shank of the pin, as well as parts of the arms, catchplate & foot, are absent. It is probable that the bow, and possibly the wings and the stud, were decorated with enamel. Dates from between c75 and c200 AD.

The length is 17mm, the width is 16mm, thickness 16mm, and the weight 4.0g.
