A copper-alloy medieval (AD c1250-c1350) D-section (cut 'wire') bar mount. It is sub-rectangular in plan and D-shaped in section, measuring 26.80mm long, 5.05mm wide and 2.09mm thick (4.56mm including the rivets), and weighing 1.53g. It has two rivets on the flat underside, one at each end. cf. Griffiths, et al 2001 p123 no.1201-1219.
