Incomplete and distorted medieval cast copper alloy pin from an annular framed buckle, broken before the tip, bent loop.The cross-section is sub-rectangular with rounded corners at the front face. Close to the loop a rectangular boss or grip carries four transverse filed grooves. Cf. Egan and Pritchard 1991, no. 541. Extant length (unbent) 37mm. Width of loop 10mm. 3.5mm thick. 14th century.
