Copper alloy toy wheel. Pressed metal model of a wheel for a cart, car, coach or gun carriage, possibly modelled at a scale of 1:32. A cylindrical hub, set back, and open to receive a separate axle [lost], has eight radiating spokes which support a rim with a central flange; whether the latter is separately made is uncertain. This might suggest a tyre of another material has been lost, or it may have helped the wheel follow a track in the case of a clockwork toy. Suggested date: Modern, 1890-1930.
