A sherd of externally glazed red eathernware. The fabric has a reduced grey core with thick oxidised orange margins. Abundant quartz sand temper. There is patchily applied dark green-brown glaze on the external surface. A rim sherd from a large jar. The rim has a deep, thick external bead below a slight lid-seat projection
