A chert core rejuvenation flake of broad Mesolithic date (9000 BC - 4000BC). It is sub-rectangular in plan and sub-trapezoid in section. The edge of the original flat striking platform is evident at the proximal end. The flake has evidence of narrow blades and flakes having previously been removed from the sides of the original core by parallel striking. It is 20.1mm long x 17.1mm wide x 7.8mm thick and weighs 2.19g.
