Post medieval copper alloy coin of Phillip IV of Spain and the Spanish Netherlands (AD 1621-1665) valuing 16 Maravedis dated AD 1664. Obverse displays head of Phillip in a circle, surrounded by the legend PHI[L]IPPVS IIII D G. The reverse displays the royal arms in a shield surrounded by the legend HISPANIARVM REX 1664. The reverse depicts the shield of Spain with MS to the left and 16 to the right. It is slightly bowed, perhaps due to manufacturing process.
