Fragment of a medieval copper alloy composite strap end, a forked spacer with a collared acorn knop. As the greater part of both prongs are missing it is uncertain whether the object was of circular or tongue-shaped form. The latter is more likely. Extant length and width 22 and 19mm. 14th - mid 15th century.
