A worn but complete cast copper alloy strap or furniture mount of probable later medieval or post-medieval date. The mount is circular in plan and flat in cross section. There is a large circular hole in the centre of the mount and four equidistant circular knops around the outer edge, each with a rivet hole. There is no decoration or surface coating visible on either side of the mount. Suggested date c. AD 1400-1700.
