Grey-buff flint with cortex, possibly collected from the East Coast, debitage. A small flake with most of the cortex trimmed by a single strike from the dorsal aspect, and with a bulb on the ventral surface. Edge damage is probably fortuitous. The lack of patina may suggest the object was incorporated into a sealed context shortly after its deposition. Suggested date: Neolithic, 4000-2350 BC.
