A Roman silver coin; a denarius of Trajan (AD 98 - 117) dating to AD 100-111 (Reece Period 5). P M TR P COS III/IIII P P reverse type depicting Victory seated left holding patera and branch. Mint of Rome. RIC II, p. 247, no. 41 & 248, no. 57. The coin is 18.9mm diameter, 2.3mm thick and 2.49g. There is a large chip missing from 4 o'clock to 6 o'clock on the obverse.
