A belt buckle complete in three pieces. The frame is a double loop cast from copper alloy and is rounded in each corner. The two halves are symmetrical, apart from a notch for the pin in the frame. This notch is worn.

The pin is cast of the same copper alloy and has a decorative tongue which is anchor shaped. The pin end, finishes in a tapped point, and is 8.2mm long.

The pivot pin is iron and is rusted in place.

All the buckle is corroded on the surface, with green corrosion and iron oxide staining.
