A complete copper alloy strap slide of post-medieval date. The slide is baluster shaped with a narrowed centre and fleur-de-lis style terminals to either end. From the reverse of the tip of each fleur an integral rectangular sectioned loop for attachment projects.
The metal has a mid-reddish-brown patina and is worn. The strap slide is 39.6mm long, 8.2mm wide, 2.1mm thick and weighs 4g.
