A silver Roman coin; a denarius of Trajan (AD 98 - 117), dating from AD 107 probably (Reece Period 5). COS V P P SPQR OPTIMO PRINC reverse type depicting Victory advancing left holding wreath and palm. Compare number 3129 on page 101 of Sear Volume II, which cites RIC 128. The coin has a slight chip in the edge. It is 18.6mm diameter, 1.9mm thick and 2.57g.
