A cast copper-alloy uniface coin weight dating from AD1464-1470. It is flat and circular in form, the back face undecorated. The front face depicts a King holding a sword and shield standing in a ship with a rose at its centre, all within a beaded border.
This is a British coin weight for a Medieval ryal falling just below the standard weight of 120 grains (Withers and Withers, 1995: pp. 19, 68). It dates to between c.1464-1470 AD.
