Lead alloy button. Cast plano-convex button with a plain smooth front retaining traces of white metal plating. The back has an inner circle of closely spaced strokes moulded in low relief around two holes where a separate wire shank has been lost; a partial legend outside this circle reads: [--]LOWE [-] AD Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1700-1750.
