It has a rounded body, with a concave neck extending to the opening. Originally hollow inside, both faces have now been pressed together. The neck is damaged, it is now ragged possibly where it has been torn across. The stubs of the handles are visible on both sides of the neck, at it's narrowist point. On one face is a faint relief design, possibly a four leaf motif. The opposite face is plain. The lead is heavily patinated, grey-white in colour and slightly pitted.
Some modern damage on righthand side of body.2015-10-31 11:25:552015-11-02 09:07:48411Certain112936PAS5634A5430019B892PUBLICLead11094IncompleteMEDIEVALMDx14221p0gjgrsxwzxPOST MEDIEVALPMx41047p0gjgrs6sgxMetal detectorCircaCirca74959359425630554241423Restricted AccessTF1552TF15SENorth Kyme263488286100538787Ampulla.jpg5125966All rights reserved4images/allank/East MidlandsOperations to a depth less than 0.25 mCultivated landEuropean RegionCountyLincolnshireDistrictNorth KestevenCivil Parish53.0597-0.271558Restricted AccessReturned to finder95897
