Post Medieval (17th century) button: The copper alloy buttons' head is a solid hemi-spherical and undecorated. Protruding from the back of the head there is an integral lug with an oval perforation at the terminal. The surface of the button has a matte red-brown surface. The diameter across the head is 11.51mm and the length is 12.02mm. It weighs 2.97g.
A similar shaped button in Egan (2005), No. 183 was found in a 17th century context.
