Copper alloy buckle fragment. Upper or lower edge from a rectangular buckle with a separate steel spindle (lost). The display face bears moulded floral or vegetal decoration. Abraded. The slight curvature may suggest a function as a shoe buckle. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1720-1790.
