Copper alloy medieval sub-triangular buckle with narrowed and offset strap bar. The expanded front end has a groove along its length to serve as a pin rest and it terminates in a trefoil moulding. On both sides of the central groove, there is a triangular panel infilled with rows of engraved zig-zag lines. There are file marks on the reverse which is flat and undecorated. The pin is missing.
