A flint scraper of neolithic date, about 4000 BC - 2200 BC. It is formed on a flake of mottled light grey and brown flint which is not patinated. It is sub-oval in plan and has a double dorsal ridge. The distal end has short, sub-parallel, abrupt retouch forming a scraping edge. There are also some short, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt to low angle retouch removals from the right hand side, from both dorsal and ventral faces, and very fine removals form the left side, dorsal face. The scraper is 26.1mm long, 16.3mm wide and 4.2mm thick. 2.08g.
