Incomplete Lead alloy Post Medieval (c.AD17th-18th Century) toy mirror with open work design. Mirror has a decorated top with an integral hanging loop, below which is scroll work and the outer frame. The outer frame is decorated with attached pellets groups of three at the corners and in the middle of the frame with one placed in between. This is connected to the inner frame by diamond fret work decorated with pellets and ridged to resemble rope. The inner frame has a medial ridge and on the inside is beaded. There are three points on the outer frame where it has been folded over as if to hold a backing sheet in place. Forsyth and Egan type 2 mirror.
